A recent article in Patch.com showed that Los Angeles is one of the worst communities for renters. As we enjoy great sunny weather and more people are suffering from snow storms back east, the desire to move to sunnier locations becomes more tempting. Los Angeles has a high-density problem, increased housing costs, and a severe housing shortage. I don’t see the problem getting solved soon. If you are a renter, it is better to buy a piece of real estate and sit on it than to pay increasing rents year after year. The real estate market fluctuates over time, but owning property in L.A is always a good bet (JMO). Whether you are a future home buyer or a future home seller I want to wish you a Joyous Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I want everyone to be safe out there. Please be patient while driving around and leave a little early for your final destination. I hate to say it, but a lot of people in Southern California don’t know how to drive in the rain, JMO. Anyway, Happy New Year and let’s have a successful 2017.
The election is over. Let’s be #kindagain over a nice turkey (veggie turkey) meal. Anyway, interest rates are still low and prices in some neighborhoods are starting to come down. I’ve seen quite a few price reductions in the MLS lately. It is a great time start looking for a home and close escrow in 2017. Anyway, I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.
I want to wish everyone a Happy #Halloween. Please stay safe: inspect your kid’s candy, carry flashlights at night, walk with your kids, and have fun. Some homes have amazing decorations, please walk around your neighborhood and check out these beautifully decorated homes. I guess some people are really handy with art and design.
Recently I had the opportunity to tour this amazing home in Beverly Hills. Everything about this house is spectacular but the game room really caught my eye. This room lets you drink your expensive wine and you can play a card game at the same time. There is a movie theater room next door. This is truly luxury living in Beverly Hills. Thank you @InmanNews, #LuxuryConnect, it was a great closing party.
I was riding my bike around #ValleyVillage last weekend and I heard the sound of goats (maybe sheep), and I was really puzzled by the noise. I realize that the noise was coming from Colfax Elementary Charter School. Wow, Colfax Elementary has a small farm. I saw a couple of chickens and two goats. This is a great idea to teach kids about farming and environmental sustainability. I hope the program continues for future generations to come. This is really awesome- way to go Colfax Elementary School.
